YieldCo is a holding/investment project specializing in entirely passive income. The philosophy of YieldCo is to acquire intellectual property and then maximally utilizing what it owns to create value for both consumers, by keeping the owned media public on every possible platform, and for YieldCo, which maintains royalty claims on those assets, thereby generating passive income.
There is currently only one segment: YieldCo Music Publishing.

C4RAC4L is an anonymous music project represented only by a virtual cat. He produces electronic music inspired by the future house and meme music genres.
YieldCo is the sole publisher of C4RAC4L tracks and holds all copyright and royalty rights. As I am the ”ghost” producer of the project, deferring all management to YieldCo was only natural.

Darkest Hour OST
Darkest Hour is a modding project made up of independent individuals and is run without any centralized financial management. YieldCo is therefore responsible for managing and publicizing the mod’s OST, in return being granted the ownership and royalty rights.

Is YieldCo a registered entity?
At the moment I run it as a personal venture. If revenue gets high enough, it will become a registered corporation.
What is the philosophy behind YieldCo?
I’m personally a significant fan of royalty/streaming investments, but direct income from these can in many cases count as work income rather than capital income, making it more suitable to be run as a business venture.
Every single piece of IP owned by YieldCo will be made available for as large an audience as physically possible. This is a win-win for both parties, as the owner receives additional income sources and the audience receives additional media to enjoy.
