What is the philosophy behind GN.RLS?
Throughout the years I’ve built a colossal collection of mint-quality EDM tracks, with the largest share being in the Future House genre. To preserve this amazing genre as well as share the music collection I’ve built, I decided to start GN.RLS as a music station to publish custom-crafted mixes featuring these tracks.
I also dabble in music publishing and manage a number of collections, which have now been brought under the GN.RLS umbrella. I aim to bring these tracks to as wide as possible of an audience, which is why the tracks are published on every available platform.
Can I publish my music through GN.RLS?
Send a demo to gnrls@generalis.se and we’ll see! I can do both official publishing as well as music channel uploads on YT/SoundCloud.
Is GN.RLS a registered entity?
At the moment GN.RLS is run only as a personal project. This will only change if revenue somehow gets high enough for tax effects in the future.
I have a copyright complaint!
If GN.RLS has featured your music (likely on our YouTube channel) against your wishes, send a full takedown request email to gnrls@generalis.se. This will be respected in accordance with EU law.
However, this is obviously a lose-lose, as released tracks get Content ID royalties and unreleased ones get you publicity.
