I am currently the informal chair of Volt in Gothenburg, the second largest city in Sweden. We are actively working on setting up an official local affiliate and qualifying to run in the 2026 municipal elections.

DIGITAL SOVEREIGNTY
I’m tired of being digitally colonized by U.S Big Tech corporations that are legally required to whatever Trump asks them do. Let’s take back our internet and make it free and open.
Our governing institutions must take the bold first steps to ditch U.S digital services – starting with email, office and cloud solutions.
YIMBY + LVT
We need to radically change how real estate works. The old parties have been effectively hijacked by the interests of mortgaged property owners, refusing to enact policies that would reverse runaway housing prices. Instead of fixing the root causes, they make it ever easier for young people to mortgage themselves up to their ears, endangering the entire economy.
I support a bold, modern YIMBY agenda: building more, building faster, and building denser. Increasing supply is the only sustainable way to bring prices down.
To encourage this, I support replacing outdated property taxes with a Land Value Tax (LVT) – taxing the value of land itself, not the buildings on it. This encourages development where it’s needed and prevents speculative hoarding.
