Accounts / Links Page
This page is the equivalent to Linktree, but self-hosted. It will contain all the links to my public pages and accounts for easy access, along with some personal commentary.

LinkedIn is my go-to for professional networking, ”serious” social media content and maintaining a dynamic CV equivalent rather than a static paper.
Will likely accept all contact requests from serious/trustworthy-looking accounts.
Interested in phasing out the site once there’s a serious European alternative, but until then this is where to be.
DISCORD
I have used Discord actively since early 2017 and it is by far my most used app. The main strength of the app is in how useful it is for both casual and professional settings.
My username is ”generalis” – feel free to add me for direct contact, however if your account looks like a bot or spam account you may be rejected.
Otherwise join the Generalisoft Interactive (one of my projects) server at the button above, as it essentially serves as my personal server as well.
Keeping Revolt in mind as a potential European alternative, but will be sticking with Discord for the foreseeable future until Revolt has adopted all the equivalent features and attracted active users.

CODEBERG
”wHy nOt gItHub??” is a reasonable question. The answer is that I want my hard work to be stored securely on European servers rather than owned by a proprietary platform owned by a big-tech corporation in a hostile unpredictable nation.
It essentially works the same other than not allowing you to have closed private repositories, which is entirely reasonable as the purpose of the site is to host open development projects. Performance is actually noticeably better and there is less trash and clutter.
I am also personally a member of Codeberg e.V, the non-profit association that runs the site and will personally vouch for you to switch your public Git repositories to Codeberg.
BLUESKY
I chose Bluesky to be my microblogger due to the following factors:
– ”X” is no longer a free forum, but rather serves as a disinformation engine for extremists.
– Meta is moving towards the same problems.
– Mastodon, while being free and European, is hosted through a ”fediverse” model, which I deem completely unreliable from a security and reliability perspective as your server will likely have uncertain funding and potentially just be in some guy’s basement.
It also has the best GUI, best feed and discovery features, best performance, is owned by a non-big-tech public benefit corporation, and has an active userbase in both Sweden and globally.
My page uses the custom ”generalis.se” domain name.

SPOTIFY
Spotify, as a Swedish company, has been my streaming provider of choice since 2011. Despite an unfortunate donation to the Trump inauguration, I still believe that they are the best choice as well as having the best offering and technical platform.
Rather than a chaotic mess of playlists, every single track I can personally vouched for is featured on the GEN FM playlist, which was created in 2015 and is still being updated to this day. It’s my personally curated competition and is focused on uptempo EDM, house and otherwise funky tracks. Specific genre tags are in the playlist description.
I am likely the world’s biggest fan of the ”Future House” genre, centered on the timeperiod 2015-2019. This is reflected in the playlist, with at least half of tracks likely being influenced by this genre.
My most played artists include Don Diablo, Dropgun, Sagan, Sick Individuals, R3hab and MOTi.
TRYHACKME
I am currently active on TryHackMe in order to gain theoretical and practical experience in the various fields of cybersecurity, in order to support my studies and career prospects.
Course certifications from THM also available on LinkedIn.
Will eventually be joining HackTheBox as well, once I have completed enough paths on THM.

CRITICKER
My website of choice for hosting my media reviews is currently Criticker, a smaller company based in Spain. This is after deleting my IMDB account due to Amazon being directly aligned against my values and no longer having my trust to serve in this role.
I try to put a score on all the media I’ve viewed (movies, series, games), but in the cases where that experience was long ago enough that I don’t exactly remember, I’ve avoided scoring it as it needs a rewatch for a correct score.
While being slightly less refined of a platform, Criticker has an impressively powerful recommendations and scoring system.
STEAM
Finally, as a long-time PC gamer, I have to mention my Steam account, which is my second oldest account still in use after Spotify, having been created in 2013.
I try to keep the profile looking good and have also over the years had an interest in collecting super-useless items and badges. Open for trading.
Most of my modding projects as well as those of Generalisoft Interactive are hosted on Steam Workshop, which can be found through my profile.
Feel free to add me as long as it’s clear you are not a bot and you’re prepared to explain that you added me from here.
