I am 20 years old and based in Göteborg, Sweden. I am actively studying and training to become a cybersecurity professional, acquiring the competence to defend a wide range of systems and organizations from society-wide threats.

Offensive Security
In order to learn the methods, thoughts and tools of our threat actors, I am exploring penetration testing methodologies and ethical hacking through sites like TryHackMe. While hacking isn’t my focus as well as a highly saturated field, I am nonetheless incorporating it into my base of competence.
Defensive Security
Through significant studies and practical experience in the field of networking, operating systems and defensive security tools, I am well-versed in the practical securing of systems and networks, as well as the practical day-to-day operations of a security team. Also continuing to build competence in analysis.
Secure Development
As someone with intermediate-to-advanced experience in software and programming, I know firsthand the importance of reliable, well-organized and security-minded codebase. Detecting logistical or structural weaknesses is one of my strong suits in development and I believe that this is an important area for most projects.
Geopolitically Informed Security
Most digital security threats in the modern era are geopolitics-related, whether it is state-funded hackers aiming to compromise the free world or dangerous dependence on tech solutions from newly hostile governments. As someone with a significant political and historical interest, this is one of my strongest areas.
Relevant Education
EC Utbildning
I am currently studying the cybersecurity field full-time at EC Utbildning (2-year yrkeshögskola). Through security educator Ludwig Simonsson Israelsson, we are learning the basics of every single area relevant to cybersecurity – including networks, operating systems, security implementation, soft skills, scripting/programming and cloud security.
This program will be finished off through a 6-month practical internship (LIA) from Dec 2025 to May 2026. I am still looking for a company to work together with, contact if interested!
NTI Gymnasiet Johanneberg
My main technical experience comes from my previous 3-year long studies at NTI Gymnasiet Johanneberg, a technical high school located on the campus of the Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg, Sweden.
This program provided a very broad education in IT, computers, programming, automation, electronics, networking and various other subjects highly relevant to the technical career field.
I completed this program very recently (2021-2024), which I consider a significant positive in comparison to those only now switching into the field of IT/tech.

Technical Experience
As described under the ”Education” section, I have significant technical experience from various schools, as well as from courses and side activities. However, I have also had a solid technical interest from the very beginning – learning networking through hosting Minecraft servers and development through experimenting with modding. I am very online and very well versed with the modern online environment, the tools available and the how to identify relevant day-to-day threats.
